Andy,

My guess is that you want to do a network based install of Fedora. I'll be writing that up later on this month.

This tutorial was about network based installs of Ubuntu running on an already installed Fedora server.

Found this while doing some googling...

Hate to plug my own site, but it sounds like you may want to check out Instalinux (www.instalinux.com)

Excuse my pickiness, but "setup" is a noun, the verb is just to "set up".
[Now back to telling people that the word is "prefix", not "prepend" ;-) ]
Yours pedantically ...
PS. article is useful !

The reason the -s didn't work with in.tftpd is that option makes it do a chroot. Therefore, the line in the dhcpd.conf that reads:
filename="/tftpboot/ubuntu-cd/install/netboot/pxelinux.0";
must be:
filename="/ubuntu-cd/install/netboot/pxelinux.0";

Cheers,

While pxe booting is *great* for fast and easy booting, you may run into disk speed problems at an install-fest. Any tricks you can do on the server to speed things up will be worth it.

Anyway, I do this with any distros I want to run. It's faster (and cheaper) then burning the 5-6 ISO for each :)
